Heeey, long time no see. *RinkuChani journaltagged me and this needed updating so thought it's an excellent time to rant about stuff. My computer is away for repairs (possibly needs a new motherboard >> pricey pricey) and school's been very very busy, so it's been even harder to get online than usual >> I'm late on my sketch commissions (no computer -> no photoshop or scanner) and applications for colleges and universities are opening in a few days, so I'll be busting my ass doing pre-exam artwork for the next month.

School isn't taking it easy either, just this week my class went on a winter camp for three days in the Nuuksio national park. With ~70cm snow and more falling the whole time hiking 10km is no laughing matter, even with snowshoes on; Wednesday was sunny though, and we spent the forenoon sitting around a campfire and talking about Kalevala and traditional finnish worldview. Yesterday we guided a class for tenth graders and made preparations for next week's winter event, and today the business class visited a local company. Everything is so fun and interesting but I'm exhausted!

1. My short term memory is the worst when walking the stairs. I go get something from downstairs, forget what it was by the time I get down, remember when I get back up, and forget it again downstairs; this can go on for ages unless I actually repeat the thing out loud while walking. Great way to excercise, though quite annoying when you're in a hurry.

2. I'm mentally allergic to all fish except sushi.

3. I can't wait to be a grandmother.

4. Winter is my favourite season, with autumn a close second. Summer is the worst.

5. My hair's so long, I have to fling it over the headboard when sleeping or I could strangle myself with it during the night <3

6. I can knit a pair of mittens in one day.

7. My favourite animals as a child were reptiles and snakes, and my friend and I used to catch frogs, toads and lizards and keep them in DIY terrariums at her country home.

8. Normally I chug down five liters of milk in a week by myself, sometimes a whole carton a day. Lately I've come to like sourmilk too, even though it still smells a bit like barf

9. I've adored the lolita fashion ever since middle school, but never really got around to actually becoming one. I've made a couple skirts and accessories, but my body type isn't quite fitting for lolita clothing and I'm quite content showing my lolita spirit in small details for now. Maybe one day.

Butt, because I sit on it too much.
